Mcloddy I got them to use google doc sign up sheets that told me when they wanted to see me and i made acollaborate session for them

this meant i was not sitting in an empty session

i blocked out the times I was not available and found they mainly used 4 -8pm hours

they don’t get out of bed until noon at the earliest

I used my google calendar and had time slots. I guess the students were just overwhelmed. This was the 3rd course I was teaching them in two consecutive semesters so they were pretty comfortable by COVID 19 time :).

Did you already discuss how the students can share a Google folder with instructor to Oncourse or other way in order to share link to document assignmet in Oncourse? Then instructor clicks on teh link and gets the assignment.

i use the Calendar on oncourse for everything

students are told to go there for all of the deadlines

it also shows the collaborate sessions automatically

i have a contract that they sign that includes reading the syllabus and i can show their work in the future to others
