A question I thought of after yesterday’s session: if you include a Record RTC video in a news forum post, is the video delivered in the email that gets sent out to all students in the course?

Yes it is, but I believe it sends them back into OnCourse to view the video

How is that different from the availability date?

The layout in Forum vs Open forum is a little different, and right now Open Forum offers The Open Grader which puts all the posts on one page.

I like using open forum because I prefer to have more flexibility with my grading. I really like using open grader because it looks like a rubric. I can select the number and description of the grade.

And for another perspective, I use Forum because I like the visual layout of Forum better, and ratings are sufficient for the grading I need to do. However, you do have more flexibility in how you grade if you use Open Forum.

If they did peer review….they only have a narrative option for feedback, not “track changes” types of feedback?
